We are Psychiatry Studio. We strive to bring personalized, comprehensive, holistic care to our members. Mojgan Makki, MD, DFAACP
Dr. Makki is a double board certified psychiatrist with American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in child, adolescent and adult psychiatry, and the founder of Psychiatry Studio. She has over 20 years of experience working in the mental health field providing services in private, community, and university systems focusing on teaching and mental health and wellness.
Her clinical work is focused on evaluation and treatment of children and toddlers under 6 years of age, consultations for schools, second opinions for complex cases, and speaking engagements. She is licensed in states of Illinois, Missouri, and California.

Karamjit Singh, MD.
Dr. Singh is a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist. He completed his residency in adult psychiatry at the Louisiana State University Health Science Center, and his fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Rush Medical Center. While at Rush, Dr. Singh received training at the Sonia Shankman Orthogenic residential school and the Rush day school program.
Dr. Singh is passionate about providing empathetic and family-oriented health and wellness care to adolescents and young adults, ages 6 and up. He finds it rewarding to witness their resilience and growth. He feels strongly about care coordination and collaborative work with other providers and schools. Dr. Singh is available for tele-medicine and in-person clinical services at our Northfield location.

Heather Hill, MD.
Dr. Hill is a Board-certified psychiatrist with 15 years of experience working with adolescents and adults with mental health and substance use disorders. Dr. Hill is licensed in TMS treatments. Her practice style is one of collaboration and education, empowering her patients to understand their symptoms and choices in treatment options when seeking mental wellness and healing. She works with her patients to guide individualized treatment plans.
Dr. Hill earned her medical degree at the University of Missouri - Columbia and completed her residency in psychiatry at the St. Louis University School of Medicine. She has experience working in inpatient and outpatient psychiatric units, private psychiatry practice, and Veterans mental health clinic.
Dr. Hill is available for tele-medicine and in-person clinical services at our Chicago and St.Louis location.

Sara Thomas
Office Manager
Sara earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology from the University of Missouri - Columbia. She has spent years helping clients achieve their personal health goals by working as a personal trainer and a nutrition counselor. As office manager, she works tirelessly to make sure members receive the utmost personalized care and that each and every interaction is efficient and smooth. She ensures our office runs efficiently on a daily basis.

Jacquelyn Amashta
Medical Assistant
Jackie has over ten years of experience working as a medical assistant with a focus on psychiatry and mental health. She insures member’s receive their medical needs addressed efficiently and properly. This includes ensuring prescriptions refill requests are completed on time, prior authorizations, form completions, or other medical needs that members may have during or in between appointments.

Gwen Weidknecht
Outreach Adminstrator
Gwen is dedicated to customer service and with a degree in business and IT, she ensures our clinic experience is always the best it can be. She works closely with the physicians, clinicians, and providers outside of Psychiatry Studio for individualized referral for our members when needed . Outside of her critical role in the clinic, Gwen is the contact person for schools for any student consultations or meetings with the district.
