Mojgan Makki, MD, DFAACAP

Dr. Makki is a double board certified psychiatrist with American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry, and the founder of Psychiatry Studio. She has over 20 years of experience working in the mental health field providing services in private, community, and university systems focusing on teaching and mental health and wellness.
​
Her clinical work is focused on evaluation and treatment of children and toddlers under 6 years of age, consultations for schools, second opinions for complex cases, and speaking engagements. She is licensed in states of Illinois, Missouri, and California.

Karamjit Singh, MD
​​
Dr. Singh is a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist who provides thoughtful, evidence-based care across the lifespan. He specialized in serving children and their families, as well as having expertise in the assessment and treatment of young adults with severe mental illness.
Dr. SIngh completed his Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at RUSH Medical Center, where he trained at the Sonia Shankman Orthogenic School and the RUSH Day School program.
With over ten years of practice as a psychiatrist in the northshore area, Dr. Singh has extensive experience treating complex emotional and behavioral disorders and stressful family dynamics. His clinical approach is collaborative and individualized, integrating medication management with a strong understanding of developmental and family systems.

Elizabeth Augustine, MD

Born and raised in Chicago, Dr. Augustine is a double board-certified psychiatrist with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry. She is excited to expand her practice to the North Shore community, where she and her family proudly reside.
​
Dr. Augustine is a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) and is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABNP). She specializes in the evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents, with particular expertise in the unique assessment needs of toddlers, young children, and early adolescents.

Sarah Bier, MHNP​
Sarah Bier is a nurse-midwife and certified nurse practitioner with specialized training in reproductive and mental health across the lifespan. Grounded in midwifery care, she takes a whole-person, relationship-centered approach to supporting individuals through hormonal transitions, including perimenopause, menopause, and other reproductive health changes. She prioritizes warm, collaborative relationships that foster safety, shared decision-making, and care aligned with each client’s values, lived experiences, and current symptoms.
Sarah partners with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that may include lifestyle interventions, supplements, hormonal treatment, integrative approaches, psychotherapy, and/or medication management; attending to the physical, emotional, and hormonal factors that influence wellbeing during midlife and beyond.
She completed advanced training at the Massachusetts General Hospital Center for Women’s Mental Health, is certified in perinatal mental health by Postpartum Support International, and participated in the first national cohort of the National Curriculum in Reproductive Psychiatry: Intensive Advanced Curriculum, affiliated with the Marce Society of North America.
At Psychiatry Studio, Sarah provides evaluation and treatment for adolescents, young adults, and adults, with a growing focus on reproductive and midlife mental health. She sees clients in the Northfield and Chicago offices and is licensed in Illinois.

Victoria Kim, LCSW
​
Victoria Kim is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience working in the mental health field, providing services in both private and school-based settings. She specializes in individual therapy for youth, family education and systems, as well as school-based needs.
Victoria is a patient-centered therapist. She believes in a non-judgemental approach to therapy that is both supportive and solution focused, where growth is accomplished through the development of therapeutic goals and taking steps toward those goals. She guides patients through incremental, intentional changes in behavior to improve personal and family functioning.

Keri Golding, LCSW

Keri Golding is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who approaches each patient with empathy, acceptance, and compassion, creating a safe and supportive environment where meaningful growth can occur. She is dedicated to helping individuals identify and understand the underlying causes of unhelpful patterns, empowering them to make healthy, lasting changes.
She enjoys working with children, adolescents, parents, and women, helping them build practical skills, strengthen confidence, and thrive in their daily lives. Drawing on her experience as a school social worker, she offers valuable insight into the social-emotional challenges children and families face, as well as the supports that can foster resilience and well-being.

Keri believes that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation of successful treatment. She partners with each individual to identify personal strengths, develop effective coping strategies, and work toward meaningful solutions through greater self-awareness, healthier thought patterns, behavior change, and improved emotional regulation.
Her clinical approach is person-centered, strengths-based, solution-focused, trauma-informed, and grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and family systems theory.​​

Marcia Leikin, MD

Dr. Leikin is double board certified in child and adolescent psychiatry and adult psychiatry and neurology. She has over 30 years of experience in private practice using multiple modalities with a focus on psychotherapy combined with medication management. She has been involved in school consultation programs at multiple schools collaborating with staff, families and students to promote support and growth. She is a member of the Illinois Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and American Society of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

Dr Tina Mattera is a double board certified Adult, Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with extensive experience in inpatient and partial hospitalization care for children and adolescents including as medical director in both settings. She completed her Child and Adolescent fellowship at the University of Chicago after her general psychiatry residency at NYU/Bellevue. She is a member of the LSSC and FEDC Board of Directors which provides governance oversight for the Sonia Shankman Orthogenic School and the Hyde Park Day Schools.

Sara earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Exercise Physiology from the University of Missouri, Columbia. She has spent years helping clients achieve their personal health goals by working as a personal trainer and a nutrition counselor. As office manager, she works tirelessly to make sure members receive the utmost personalized care and that each and every interaction is efficient and smooth. She ensures our office runs efficiently on a daily basis.

Jackie has over ten years of experience working as a medical assistant with a focus on psychiatry and mental health. She ensures members receive their medical needs addressed efficiently and properly. This includes ensuring prescription refill requests are completed on time, completing prior authorizations, completing forms, and addressing other medical needs that members may have during or between appointments.

Wanda Barrientos
Administrative Services @Clinic
Wanda assists with phone coverage, scheduling support, and administrative assistance to ensure our members receive exceptional, personalized service. As a Chicago native and experienced Medical Assistant, she also provides cross-coverage support for our clinical team as needed, helping our office operate smoothly and efficiently.

Known for her warm, compassionate nature, Wanda strives to make everyone feel welcomed, heard, and understood from the moment they connect with our practice. Her friendly personality and dedication to patient care make her a wonderful addition to the Psychiatry Studio team.
